The same pattern minus the pad elements could easily just be used for regular underwear as well. I made it entirely without the serger too, so that should be easy for most people. :)

Future pattern idea
I made my daughter some period panties recently for easy overnights. I won't be able to make patterns for this in every size, but I could probably do a small and medium pretty easily. Maybe sizes 5, 6, and 7 in the way underwear in the US is sized at least.
The same pattern minus the pad elements could easily just be used for regular underwear as well. I made it entirely without the serger too, so that should be easy for most people. :)

Wow it is like you read my mind! I am a size 5/6 in US. I just barely found you on my journey of DIY cloth diapers and then while studying I realized I could eliminate even MORE waste and chemical toxins by eliminating pads too! I would love more info on this pattern idea. What sorts of materials did you use? I am also not tech savvy at all and have no idea how to navigate the blog so I am sorry if I didn't find all of the instructions!
ReplyDeleteI haven't posted a pattern yet. I am just finishing up Cloth Diaper sewing month, and then will move on to the next few projects. Next week will be kitchen stuff transitioning to bathroom stuff. I'll post the period panties pattern and tutorial mid-late February. :)
